What is bad about Alton Towers?
Old people can not go on all or any rides, not a lot else for old people to do.
Package and promote
Would sold in the gift shop or have specific shop just for the elderly.
Concept
Elderly people do not really tend to go to theme parks and if they do its generally to take younger people. children, grand children etc so i want to make a silly, jokey range of products or package existing products for elderly people i they were to go on the theme park rides.
Audience
Elderly people
I want it to be funny and not taken serious. The products that i will package are typical, stereotypical things that old people have or use.
Print design and production methods
I will package things such as slippers, walking sticks, false teeth, hearing aids, ear plugs, flat caps, pipes, pack lunches, sweets etc.
I also want to print onto some of the products such as the slippers, to do this i would use pad printing
I want it to be different than all the other generic merchandise you already find at places like Alton Towers.
Who its for, where it will be distributed, who can buy it?
Could be sold at gift shops, anyone could buy it, could be appealing to young people as its fun and jokey, supposed to be aimed at old people.
I want to print on a range of different stock and see which one will work best. I have a range of different package methods and products so would need to use a whole range of different print processes.
The main method of distribution is through a gift shop but i think i will also do some sort of promotion, perhaps advertise a day where Alton Towers is open to only O.A.Ps
